I was little late in getting my New Year book. It arrived today. As I mentioned in a previous post I usually treat myself to a book that I have to work through. The book I usually choose every year has to really catch my eye. This is my choice for 2008.
Sark’s Journal and Play! Book.
It’s an interactive book of sorts to work through, be creative and forget about the usual limits we set up for ourselves. A few blank pages allow me to just dive in, draw, write, add pictures, textures and colours in any way I see fit. It’s a delightful looking book that is just as scrumptious inside. I can’t wait to get started! So, this will be my creative journal for this year.
In the meantime, the house is quiet and it’s my work time, so I need to tackle this pile of colour and make some goodies that people will like.
But first, I need to eat! scampi, sea salad, flaxseed and pine nuts and a nice glass of fresh orange juice will feed my creative spirit I should think. Well, maybe not, but I will feel full afterwards!

Just clicked onto the sark site to see what it’s all about…can you explain? it looks great whatever it is – and the journal sounds fab, would i be capable of doing any of their things??? I want to write and create a bit more this year, not for anyone else…I’m too naff for that – but for me!
